The information on this page is from the Club's publication "A History of the Rotary Club of Brunswick" Golden Jubilee 2nd edition, 2003:

District Governor: Ford Davis (Rotary Club of Keilor)
President: Ted Bailey
Secretary: Alan McHugh
Treasurer: Bill Pratt
The Brunswick Rotary Club decided that a survey of the Brunswick district for the needs of the Migrant Aged be carried out to obtain the necessary information.
A contact was made to the Commonwealth Statistician and the sum of $391.75 was paid by our Club to obtain the information.
Two students were sent to the RYLA Seminar at a cost to our Club of $120. The students spoke at one of our meetings to report their thoughts and what they had gained from attending the Seminar.
Our Club was approached by the Overseas Service Bureau for a donation for drugs and ancillary equipment for Bangladesh and a donation was made.
Our Club paid for four students from the University High School to attend a school camp.
Mount Royal Hospital required monetary help for the supply of Christmas Carols; this was carried out.
The main project for this Rotary Year was the appeal for a new canteen at the Brunswick Sheltered Workshop. This involved the whole Club and the sum of $14,000 has been raised. This is a magnificent effort.
